Thierry Lucereau
CEO, Board Member
Graduated from Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris (ISEP), Thierry holds an MBA from INSEAD. He has more than 30 years in manufacturing, sales & marketing and general management in electronic components and packaging. After a first experience in Corning Glass Works (CGW) as a manufacturing manager and VP sales and marketing, he holds a position of Managing Director at Tekelec components and Manuhrin Defense. In 1997, Thierry turns to packaging industry as COO and CEO in large multisite companies, working in France, Germany and USA. He is instrumental in optimizing organizations on a global scale, managing multicultural teams and developing strategic partnerships to implement the best strategy of growth. He joined ASK as a CEO in December 2011.

Patrick Sure
Director, Cards/Tickets/Terminals Business Unit
Patrick holds an MBA from HEC in Paris and an Engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure d’Optique. He started his career in the aerospace industry with Aerospatiale and Matra Space and after 4 years decided to follow an MBA program to apply to marketing positions. In 1992, he joined SAGEM group (now MORPHO) as a diversification manager in the Optronics and Defense Division. He then held several positions including Biometric product marketing manager in the group. In 2000, he participated to the creation of a start-up company dedicated to biometric applications’ development. This company was the first to implement finger biometrics for school cafeterias. In 2003, Patrick joined ASK as a product marketing manager, he then headed the transport/banking business line from 2007. In 2011, he was named Director of the cards, tickets and terminals Business Unit. |

Fabien Guichon
Director, Identity and Inlays Business Unit
Fabien graduated as an Engineer from the UTC in Compiègne (France). He started his career at the CEA (French Atomic and Energy Agency) as a mechanical engineer. He then joined SAGEM group (now MORPHO) as a technology expert manager to work on products’ development. After 3 years, he moved to the identification division of the group as a project manager for ID cards, where he notably initiated the development of long durability identity smart cards in various countries (Asia, Africa and Latin America). In 2002, he went to the smart card division as a product manager for identity documents, such as ID cards and e-Passport including biometrics, contactless, and digital signature features. He joined ASK in 2008 as the identity business line manager, dealing with contactless inlays for eID documents. In 2011, he was named director of the Inlays and identity business unit. |

François Monteil
Chief Operations Officer
François graduated from Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (SUPELEC) and holds an MS from the University of Santa Clara, USA, François Monteil has more than 20 years experience in the smart card industry. After 5 years in the semiconductor industry, in 1987 he joined Schlumberger’s Smart Cards and Systems division, where he held various Research and Development management positions, working with bothcards and terminals. François initiated the first developments on GSM cards and was the R& D director of the payphone division. In 1999 he joined ASK as R& D director and then took over as Chief of Operations in 2006. |

Philippe Berthault
General Secretary, Human Resources Director
After initially working for auditors, Philippe joined Axime (now ATOS) as a Financial Controller. He spent 8 years there where he was in charge of banking and stock exchange activities. He then spent 8 years in Innovatron, where he held various financial positions (chief accountant then CFO) for the Company and its subsidiaries. In 1998, he joined ASK as CFO also managing the Human Resources and Legal departments. Since 2004, he has held the position of General Secretary of the company. |

Gilles Martinez
Quality Director
Gilles graduated from Ecole des Arts et Métiers in Paris as a Mechanical Engineer. He has plenty of experience in the industrial sector first working at Cegelec before entering Altran Consulting as a project leader for Valéo, Philips, Renault and RATP, where he validated the control system of Line14 of Paris’ automatic metro. Before joining ASK, he was a Quality Director in Archos, an international SME involved in designing electronicMP3 players. He was in charge of enforcing the whole quality cycle of the Chinese factories and managed quality control in Europe and the USA. |

Pascal Gaussin
R&D Process & Engineering Director
Pascal graduated from Ecole Centrale with a specialization in Automatics and Signal Processing. He holds a Master from French Institute of Management (IFG) and has over 20 years of experience in development and manufacturing of electronic controls, actuators and sensors for the Automotive industry where he has acquired some solid skills in plastic material processing and lean manufacturing. Pascal joined ASK to bring in his senior expertise in Engineering and R&D as well as his experience in management of international industrial operations. |
